Has nothing to do with screwing people online. There's a single player mode that requires you to do certain combos - that's what these are for. You earn titles and achievements and such.

Pretty sure I updated my firmware when it was first available. Kind of strange really. I replaced the batteries on a whim and the looping suddenly works fine, despite using fresh batteries in both instances. Weird stuff. Anyway, I'll see about the support ticket. Thanks.

Huh, I thought I posted a response, but apparently I didn't. Anyway, yeah, fix worked beautifully. Went ahead and tried my other cables on regular controllers - lo and behold, those didn't charge(though the 360 DID recognize that they were there). Anyway, problem is solved. Thanks a bunch, guys.
