need help with controller

I just got my brand new viking360 controller and when i plug it it to my computer the program doesn't say connected i did everything right. I also had help with my friend that has one but still can't get it

Do you own a TYR'S HAND or a MACRO CONTROLLER? They are very different, the software is not intercompatible between the two devices.
