So how exactly does this macro work? If there is someone behind you or to your left or right you can just hit the button and it will automatically spin, aim and shoot?

Aim at someone and by pressing the button you should, in theory, do a 360 and quickscope them. It will aim and shoot where you were last- in theory if the person made a good macro.
