there should be an akimbo mode, if you press r1 it fires the 2 secondary weapons but not with rapid fire...
example :
with the fmg9 you do not need rapid fire because it is an automatic gun,
so you have to press L1 and R1 to fire the guns,
it would be easier that you should only have to press R1 to fire the guns, ( without rapid fire)

it would improve the speed of response when someone is firing at you.

If you want akimbo with auto weapons, use akimbo mode #4 this is a mimic akimbo mode, meaning the controller will mimic what you do on the right trigger on the left automatically.

PS3 only has 3 Akimbo modes, mode 4 (MIMIC) is what it doesnt have like the Xbox. But rapid fire on an automatic makes it more accurate if dialed in properly!

Correct, PS3 controller right now does not have Akimbo Mode #4. This was a new feature we added to the XBOX360 Ragnarok. We will be adding this Akimbo mode in a driver update for those customers who purchased the Programmable PS3 Ragnarok. The only customers who will not have the feature are the customers who purchased the non-programmable basic PS3 Ragnarok.
