Trouble with the Viking Software Update

I went on and tried to update the controller to make sure I was up to date. When I upload the software , it says installing and then I get a screen that said Repair the viking software or delete viking software. I choose repair then everything goes trough but when I watched the video I don't get access to the screen to plug in the controller for the update.

it said at the end the software has been successfuly installed but is that all I need to do? I saw that in a video i needed to plug in the controller but dont know what to do after this.

I would try going to the windows add/remove programs and remove the software.

Then download the latest manually by surfing to Viking360.com, clicking downloads and going to the macro controller download page ("The viking").
