Have u guys tried the L86 LSW with Grip and Thermal? its a lazer gun fo'reals....lol i just don't feel i can use it to its full potential because i'm not used to the thermal sight and the small FOV it gives while aiming. But i gotta say the gun has become one of my fav to use after the patch of course.

I recently started using it too, it is an amazing little gun the only downfall is the slower rate at which you run. Will have to try your combination though.

Better with either rapidfire or silencer, still has very little recoil but lmgs are only guns that don't take a range penalty from silencers and rapidfire just makes you a mobile sentry gun

I tried a couple of combinations and i found that kick reduces a lil more recoil than Grip imo... but if u use the specialist kills streak its best to use grip as when u get the all specialist perk it gives u all the proficiency it can have except the 2 attachment. I havent tried rapidfire tho... what combination is good with rapidfire?.

Edit** Ok Rapidfire on this gun is not good at all at least for me... i can't control the recoil it just upwards like crazy. So my fav so far is silencer and kick. works really good at any range for me.

I bet it could be even more of a laser if you use rapidfire to slow it down and reduce the recoil :) Might have to test some settings out for it and start using it whenever I actually play CoD again.

It doesn't give you all the weapon proficiencies, I believe it just gives you every single perk. I could be wrong and it gives you both the proficiencies and perks but I'm pretty sure it's just the perks. Haven't played in forever so my memory may be off. Google it lol

I did some test using specialist and the L86 with Grip + silencer and after i got the all specialist perk.. my recoil spread was even less than with out the specialist perk.. when i tried it with kick + silencer the recoil spread was the same. Still take this with a grain of salt.. it could be just my imagination. I also looked it up and some people say yes it does others say it does not, So test for yourselves and see. Sorry if i misinformed you guys.

It wasn't misinformation bro, it's all good. I just couldn't remember either if the specialist class gave u all the perks and the proficiencies, or if it was just the perks. It should say it somewhere in the game but IDR, I used to know when I actually played MW3 still but I haven't played in forever now.
