If your talking about MW3 , i have had the same issue with my Power A pro elite controller, Gioteck HF-2 controller, A stone stock DS3 controller and my PS3 Ragnarok custom build, i think its whatever game your in at the time and not just the controller.

setting the controller was the very first thing i did after i fully charged it. i really like this controller, after i found which mode worked for MW3, now all i have to do is hold the mod switch down, tap R2 and rapid fire is ready to go, it sure is alot easier to use then the evil controller...

Hi, i am new to Viking controllers, should get my custom built ps3 controller today. hope its ok that i am a ex-evil controllers customer , i had one of their 360 controllers, sold it with my 360 elite system. And after what i have read online and here in the forums, i am glad i switched companies.
