If you want to, go to the top right of the screen - settings, then go to user settings - settings (or default settings / general settings) and switch it to e-mail notifier for visitor messaging. If you can't find it and still want it let me know and I'll do it for you.

This is like a PM but its public to all - a chat on my member page.

Once you read it, it isn't showing up anymore. That is normal. Always refer to "What's New?" for the newest things!

But yes, once you read it it won't be a "newest post" anymore.
