Altering Drivers?

i was just wondering if its possible to alter the drivers and customize them further? such as, for MW2 can i alter the rapidfire code and make it shoot faster than its programmed? and if this is possible please explain by using windows 7

The custom preset editor is as close as it gets, but even with rapidfire most of the games (COD:MW2 included) have a 'natural' cap that's based on the the actual game software itself. You can only do so much goodness with rapidfire controller.
