Just posting this for anyone that may be interested in learning how to do PCB design or if you just wanted to play around and see what goes into designing a PCB should check out KiCad.
Just Google KiCad and it will bring you to the KiCad website and from there you can download the KiCad free software. This is a sweet little program and it will come in very handy to the right people.
I hope you all enjoy!!! Oh yeah, I'm back bitches!!!! Yeaaaaaaahhhh, WHAT!!!!

Glad to see you back fredrow. Haven't downloaded the software yet, but is it just like an autocadd for designing circuit boards? I took a cadd class or two last year.

Very cool. My controller is still working great btw. Although I might hit you up for a custom shell once I get some more ideas.

Yeah, that's right on; right thurr..... It's a pretty cool free PCB design program. Plus it's something cool to mess around with and learn on, my instructor said that it's just like EagleCAD and he has used many different PCB design programs and said that KiCAD is kind of a striped down version of EagleCAD......

Nice glad to hear the beast is still holding up! It's funny, I don't even own a 'Viking' controller...... As far as a custom shell goes, I would beat that once your ready for something I should be skilled at airbrushing. I'm working on Irish's shell right now and it's going to be the first airbrushed shell that I have done so far. I'm just messing around now with different types of paints and clear coats and see how they react to being sprayed onto the 360 controller shells. But just keep in contact with me and I'll give you updates on the progress.....

If you would, could you post it up on the forums somewhere, I would love to see some more of your work.

I had jtagged japser case and controller air brushed. It looks great, all painted red and then black skulls. The only problem with the controller airbrushed is the paint is starting to peel. I'm not sure what kind of what paint he used but he said it was professional automobile paint and clear coat.

I've seen quite a few consoles painted with auto paint... Seems to me it wouldn't stick to the plastic as well as the metal it's designed for. Fredrow's the expert though.
