Call of Duty Double XP Across The Whole Franchise Next Week!

Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward has confirmed that for the first time in Call of Duty history - a double XP event is being rolled out across the whole franchise for games which have Prestige Mode. The idea behind this is to earn Prestige Points before the release of Modern Warfare 3 on November 8th 2011 where you can use your points to buy Prestige Only items from a Prestige Shop. This can be custom emblems, weapons, buy more double XP time and a whole lot of other things... The Mega Double XP event will commence on the weekend of October 27th 2011.

I was hoping to get my hands on a hardened edition but they are all sold out however this will let me get to fifteenth on black ops and I could get ready for mw3.

Ya that would be cool to have a separate place for that. By the way thanks for keeping me updated on things. I get home and check the forums but by the time I get home Im too tired to go searching for all that good stuff.
