I just put this on my droid x. It is simply amazing! Who else uses it / has any good ideas for me to add things to my phone from CM7?

What is it?
Its a rom for a phone. when rooting (equivalent of jailbreaking for iphone) You can install new roms that enable overclocking, take out all of the extra apps you dont need, and let you run a higher android version that may not be out for your phone. Basically a new skin I guess you could call it for your android.

I had it on my phone (virgin mobile optimus v). It was good. I like the 2.2.3 gingerbread or whatever its called, but like you said it was pretty glitchy. It seemed most of the things I did made my phone restart and I really didnt like that. Tried clearing and reinstalling but it made no difference. Now I am running bumblebee rom on 2.2.1. Also adw launcher is a must.

GO LAUNCHER EX is my personal favorite. I'm now on gingerbread 2.3.4.

But that's not a true 2.3.4??

It seems like some of those Dev's keep bumping up the number. One Dev will take the GB rom and tweak it just a little bit and then say it's GB #.#.#.

There is a bunch of that going on with the Hybrid sense 2.1 + 3.0.......

What droid based phone would you guys reccommend for Tmobile? I was thinking about getting rid of the iphone 4 and getting the HTC Sensatiion or waiting for the Galaxy SII. I know its a off topic question, don't mean to hijack guys.

I'd wait for any phone that has:

Dual-Core 1ghz processor as a minimum
1GB RAM
4G (if possible, don't know about t-mobile)
Screen bigger than 4.0" or 4.0"
Good Battery life

SGSII Is a fantastic choice, so is the sensation though. I'd personally wait for the SGSII if it comes before fall, otherwise get the sensation.
