Error downloading Viking software

I am having a very big problem i just got a laptop today and it will not let me download the viking software it is giving me an error message from my computer after downloading it saying that i need to download firmware version v4.0.30319 help please.

no there is no way but if i can get a guarantee about team viewer not beign a virus i will download it if it will help
