My new controller arrived on Friday (earlier than expected) which was great. I spent several hours over the next two days trying out different macros and setups. Yesterday was the first time I played on live and I has to say that I was a bit dissappointed. Now, I love the abililty to be able to change macros and setups quite easily and the the adaptation to games(old and new) seem limitless. Having friends who use "rapid" fire controllers I was thinking that I would be able to get the same thing plus the adaptability with the macros. It seems however that adaptablity has overun the "rapid" part.
Now having said this I do realize that it will take some time to get used to all the extra tac switches. I also will say that I am a "newbie" when it comes to Mod/macro/rapid fire controllers and this is the first one that I have ever purchased and quite honestly am a little ignorant when it comes to all the terminology. Some things that I think may be helpful to people such as myself is some clarification on the macros. Listing them under the types of weapon they work for(auto, burst, single shot) etc. and a better description of what they actually do. I found myself downloading and using what I thought to be different macros but they ended up doing the same thing during gameplay. I am not giving up or condeming the product because I know that some of the problems have to do with me, but it is frustration to spend so many hours changing out the macros to not accomplish anything or for them not to work.
