First Impression

My new controller arrived on Friday (earlier than expected) which was great. I spent several hours over the next two days trying out different macros and setups. Yesterday was the first time I played on live and I has to say that I was a bit dissappointed. Now, I love the abililty to be able to change macros and setups quite easily and the the adaptation to games(old and new) seem limitless. Having friends who use "rapid" fire controllers I was thinking that I would be able to get the same thing plus the adaptability with the macros. It seems however that adaptablity has overun the "rapid" part.

Now having said this I do realize that it will take some time to get used to all the extra tac switches. I also will say that I am a "newbie" when it comes to Mod/macro/rapid fire controllers and this is the first one that I have ever purchased and quite honestly am a little ignorant when it comes to all the terminology. Some things that I think may be helpful to people such as myself is some clarification on the macros. Listing them under the types of weapon they work for(auto, burst, single shot) etc. and a better description of what they actually do. I found myself downloading and using what I thought to be different macros but they ended up doing the same thing during gameplay. I am not giving up or condeming the product because I know that some of the problems have to do with me, but it is frustration to spend so many hours changing out the macros to not accomplish anything or for them not to work.

I believe the macro library may be updated to allow people who create macros more ways to describe what the macro does. Example would be putting a youtube video in to show people who look at the macro too see how it works and if you want it. Also there might be a comment box added to leave feedback on how the macro works or suggestion to help improve the macro. But that is just rumor, not too sure what will happen anything is possible.

You're in the right place. Just let us know in a forum post what you're trying to accomplish and we will help you get it done in the software. Like what guns do you usually use, are there any features you are specifically interested in getting up and running?

I posted something in the request a macro thread, but basically I'm looking for a rapidfire for the g-11. Not a jitter but something that makes the 3 round burst faster, with a shorter interval between them and continous. I made a macro for it but it is more just a continous fire(hold RT down and it keeps firing bursts until you let go). I can't figure out how to get it faster though. everytime I tried it wouldn't work.

I'm nearly positive you can't speed up the pause in between the bursts other than using the jitter macro.

I feel your pain bcamyx. My controller came on Friday (7/15/11) and I spent some time figuring out a good load out. I suck at FPS games, but love playing them. I have a negative KDR but still enjoy the games. I got the controller with the thought that I could maybe break even. I played with my controller yesterday and did fairly well. I actually was positive on a few games. Just keep playing with it, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. I think I had the misconception that the controller would make me awesome. I think it just enhances your skills, and unfortunately for me, I suck. Hope things progress for you, cause I think you bought a great product, like me (lol).

I can only hope to get to a 1.0...lmfao...doesn't matter, it's just a game and I'm loving this controller. I learn new things everytime I go into the libary and download things.
