Forums were down, lost data back to 8/1/2011

Greetings All;

As I was working on the new website yesterday, to get ready to launch our new PS3 controllers (hoping to launch the new website and controllers "any day now"), I incidentally wiped out the Viking forums all the way back to 8/1/2011. I made a stupid mistake in deleting the data - and unfortunately I only had weekly backups scheduled, and my backups run on a Monday. So we lost nearly an entire week of data.

I am now making daily backups of all data, and also will be treading much more lightly in my web development, and making extra intra-day backups when I am developing/testing on the server. There was a lot of good posts and collaboration and new users in the past week, but unfortunately all of that is lost forever! In any case, forums are stable now (really they were stable all along, I just made a human error), so please, have fun and post away!

Its nice to know that even the great and good can make the same oops! mistakes like the rest of us....at least you fessed-up!Your right,there were some very good threads lost,but Im'e sure that those that posted them will understand,worst comes to worst they can always re-post ! Anyway....we can't be perfect at everything,you are clearly the master of design and creation of controllers rather than websites,I know which I would prefer you to be,so chill...mistakes....we make them,but thanks for the post.

Yeah, it's nothing amazing really, in fact it will look like a PS3 controller only with a single tac switch on the back. Until we can get some shells painted... we will just be offering the stock colors at the beginning (along with LED customization). I will however post a preview of the instruction sheets now. This is for the non-USB version (though it's completely jam packed with features even without the USB). Also this gives you a preview of the new corporate logo.
