My Viking 360 doesn't seem to work anymore. I have tried to update firmware but that doesn't help I even tried new batteries. And when I try to sync my controller it freezes the software so nothing happen. Everytime I turn on the controller the Leds won't appear it works as a regular controller with no mods or LEDS on. I am guessing their is a defect in the mod chip. I have open up support ticket but i get no response. I will attach the macros file thats on my controller if thats the problem. Need help this is getting frustrating.[attachment=0:24nx5y7w]Gilbert Macro Set.vks[/attachment:24nx5y7w]

Try making a brand new .vks. Update your controller with the new software / firmware: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3118

Make sure you are using brand new batteries. Again, try a brand new fresh .vks with one page. Just test if rapid-fire works on RT on that page after you redo the firmware + get the new software.

NYjets always give them this to try:

Remove batteries.
Start holding START button (you didn't put the batteries in yet).
Ok now insert batteries (You are holding down the START button the whole time).
Ok batteries are firmly in now.

Controller should power up.

This is a little different than the usual, where you put the batteries in first and THEN hit START. Give this a try and see if your controller powers up. If it does, try updating your firmware again and be sure you used the firmwareupdaterv2.exe. That's the VERSION 2 updater from the downloads page on the viking360 website (or the thread nyjets posted above).

By the way, I don't believe you when you say you opened up a support ticket and got no response. My wife and I answer EVERY TICKET always. But we don't work 24/7/365. Have patience Danielson. Sometimes it may take us a little while to get to the ticket :).

Another thing that might sound stupid but... wipe off the contacts on the controller with your shirt. Do the same for the battery. I noticed that if there is oil on there from your finger all kinds of weird things happen and it will start freaking out or just stop working.
