How do you record a macro from the controller

I just got my controller today and I cant seem to find out how to enter the user programmable mode. I got all the software and stuff to work but I have no idea how to access the macros from the controller or how to create pages of macros. But most importantly I dont know how to record a macro from the controller itself.

Hold start when the controller is off to enter programming mode. Plug the controller into the computer.

Make sure the software is installed.

Also make sure to update the firmware.

Within the software, on a tactical switch button, you have the option to record. Then set the playback button somewhere.

To make a page, click the buttons on the top of the software.
