Or get another computer... I have a computer just for watching videos off of, I quite like it. It stays right by the TV and I hook up to the TV through HDMI.

lol I got the parts around and stuff... I paid like $20 for an HDMI cord and a DVI-HDMI adaptor.

The adaptor is most of it... Plus that's the American Amazon, then I get killed on shipping to Canada. The Canadian one sells them for more than the place I bought them.

No it doesn't record in HD. You can play in HD but it will only record SD. I would save money for an HD PVR if you are serious about recording and want good quality.

It records at 480p. Which isn't the greatest, but you can render it in HD and make it look pretty good.
