MELEE PROBLEM

I bought a controller from you guys. Yet lately I notice when an enemy get close sometime it melee instead of shoots. I even had it happen when I using a sniper rifle. I pull trigger next thing I know it stabbing. I change battery pack. I made sure of that. I just confused even make sure that I touch the analog lightly think it might be problem with me . Please help

Oh yeah sorry that will help. I downloaded the codes for MW2 and yes I just found the support ticket on the forums. SO I handle it through there with you guys. SO if possible can you close this thread. Also thank you for your help on the matter.
