Mic Problems

Sometimes, my friends and I are just randomly playing, and it shows people talking, but we can't hear anyone, when we unplug our mics, we can hear people though. I've tried many mics, and once in a while it'll do it on just about every mic I've tried. Do you know how to fix this?

Let me guess... you are in a party?? Those people are in game chat. You can only hearhear the party chat. When you unplug your mics you hear game and party chat.

I wasn't in a party. It does it when im party as well anyways.

Wired Microsoft headset?

My friends and I have also noticed this problem. It happens ever now and then, but all we have to do to fix it, is just turn off headset/(or unplug) then reconnect.
(I can't remember if we also had to turn controller off or not; but I don't think we turned off the controllers)

Sometimes I use turtlebeaches and sometimes, ill use my regular microsoft wired mic, and once in a while, my Microsoft wireless mic.

Has happened to me on a couple different controllers. The problem fixes itself magically at random. It's extremely annoying. I'm convinced it has something to do with the way the controller syncs to the console.

You know like old fashioned 900 mhz devices or on the old wireless B, you'd have to change channels to a different frequency. Possibly somebody in your neighborhood bought a new microwave and you need to find a way to get your gamepad to sync to a slightly different frequency. Has anybody heard anything like this, it's just a theory for now?

Never happened to me. The only mic-related problem that happens to me is that when I'm using my Turtle Beaches while the play and charge is plugged into the console, I will get an annoying buzzing sound through the earpieces.

IKR i wish there way a way to fix it... any 1 got an idea
