NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!! install of rognorak chip xbox 360

where do i find the alternate led connection points ? other than that i pretty much know what to do but these two things are a little confusing

There are two huge, full color pictures showing the connection points. Just use those diagrams and you will be fine. Everything you need is in the .PDF instructions, just keep reading them until they make sense.

is it possible to drill out the via holes for the a and b buttons to allow the wire to pass thru them and then be soldered

No that would be a bad idea, if you drill out the via holes you would be removing the copper that connects the top side of the board with the bottom side of the board. Just scrape back the green soldermask to expose the copper and then solder onto the copper, routing the wires around the board without getting the wires pinched when you go to close up the shell.

welp looks like im screwed on the install when iwent to solder the rb button on the circuit board i lost part of the terminal so it looks like i have a chip which i havent even removed from the package yet sitting around collecting dust is there anywhere i can have these things installed if i happen to find another matrix 2 remote ? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Can you take a hi resolution pic of the damage, maybe something that can be repaired?

You can try cutting along the trace. Just follow the diagram and take your time. Use a X-acto knife and scrape away slowly until you expose the copper underneath.. Don't leave the soldering iron on the board for too long if you miss just move the iron away and try again. I just installed my chip last night I'll post some pics later..

i actually dont have a way to submit a picture but if you look on the ragnorak install pdf its on the little black box where you solder for the rb button, there are 2 silver prongs on one side on the box and one other silver one in the middle and its the one that you solder to that broke off. i was so excited to use my new remote now im screwed dang it

I don't think you can fix the metal leg piece. sorry I don't know the technical term for it. But if you can take a picture it would help. Do you have a digital camera or a cell phone that has a camera?

sounds like you lifted a pad, but you state "if u find another pad" so im assuming your talking about on the controller pcb board. which should be fixable.

where do you live to have it fixed? If your in the states i may be able to help.

its where the red wire on the left hand side of ur remote..... solders to that little metal leg the leg came off completly from the remotes board and the little black box its attached to. and i live in kansas home of barely any modders or hackers lmao
