Hey everyone I'm new to this and I hate to ask a stupid question but can I be banned from live for using a tyr's hand? Is it detectable and if I do get banned can I contest it?

Hi :)

The short and simple answer is No.

You can not be banned for having a rapid fire controller on Live :).

Thanks! :D i have heard also from another website that if you get enough complaints you can get banned.. is there any truth to this? and if so is it temporary or permanent?

I have been using rapid fire for a good year - No ban.

If you did get another complaints yes you probably would get a temp ban.. never a perm one though. But hardly anyone files complaints against rapid fire users, and It would take a hell of a lot complaints to even have MS consider banning you

one last question.. does the tyr's hand come ready to use out of the box? or do i need to flash it first?

I think it comes with the All-In-One Preset already flashed on it. But if it doesn't, its not too hard to flash it yourself :)

First let me say nobody has been banned or even temp banned for rapidfire controllers.

However! I think cheating is technically against the Microsoft XBOX Live service terms of use. So you *could* get a temporary suspension or banning for cheating.

Don't believe any mod shop when they say their mods are "100% undetected". There's no such thing as a 100% undetectable mod (trust me, I would know).

My opinion? Microsoft is very busy combating piracy, and things like patched game discs and people hacking the hardware on their XBOX 360 consoles (I'm sure some of you have played in a COD:MW2 live match recently with the unlimited ammo glitch that ruins the game - this is from an XBOX 360 hack). Microsoft generally leaves anti-cheating up to each game developer. And game developers want you to buy their games. So they are more likely to try to release XBOX Live patches that will try to stop you from using rapidfire - but still let you play - they do this rather than banning you and losing your business.
