Whats up guys. I just finished my viking 360 controller.
Heres what I used.
Black Wireless Controller
Duo Install Viking 360 Chip - Installed the buttons above the back and start buttons like ESE.
Blue LEDs on Player 1 & 2
Red LEDs on Player 3 & 4
Black PS3 Style Sticks from Evil Controllers
Black D-Pad
Install took me a little while but I wanted to make sure I did a good job. Which paid off because as soon as I turned it on and hooked it up and flashed it the controller worked without a hitch. I must say this is an absolutely amazing controller. Better than any modded controller I have ever used. This was my 4th mod, and second I made myself. The first one was a cheap 3 mode sleeper. Second was the 10 mode from GamerModz which I paid a $170 with shipping. Third was the Intensafire. The viking 360 blows all of these out of the water. I love this controller. I bought the Gamermodz controller a while back for left4dead. I thought it was going to be the last one I ever had to buy. Boy was I wrong. With in 5 minutes I was back to my cheap 3 mode sleeper. I got into a game of L4D and got into the heat of battle. I was killing zombies left and right with my akimbo pistols and loving it. Right when Mr. Tank shows up and smacks me around. At this point I need to heal. I pull my health pack out and start to hold right trigger to heal and my healing bar starts going to 5% and then starts over and over. At this point I realized I realized I had to turn the mod off to heal. But to go through all ten modes back to off took a good 20-30 seconds. In a game like L4D you don't have the time to do that kind of thing when your in need of health. So at this point I was really bummed out. I went back to playing with my 3 mode which took 3 seconds to turn off and on with the d-pad. So now MW2 comes out and I'm looking for a good akimbo mod. I went with the Intensafire because it was cheap and easy to install. Well I get it and start playing with the akimbo I immediately notice a problem. If you are in akimbo mode you cannot aim down the sight of your primary weapon. Which was a big bummer also. I loved the Akimbo M9s but I wasn't willing to stay in akimbo mode full time because of the ADS problem. So finally I broke down and got the Viking 360. This thing does it all. Instant on/off for L4D. Akimbo mode allows me to ADS and destroy people with my M9's. Fast reload. Jitter. I'm in love with this thing. The ability to upgrade it for new games. If I had to recommend a controller for someone this is it! Hands Down. I'm a proud and happy with my Viking 360.
