http://www.intensafirestore.com/products/intensafire-playstation-3-controller-modI might pick one of these up just to see how their quality is.....and until Viking makes a superior product.
Can you post an install vid too...I wanna see if this is anything like the xbox one...thanksmodded matt said:I have a sample on the way, and will be writing a full review soon. We expect to have them at AM by the end of the week. we are currently working on prividing a better price.

ok just say yes or no....you know the plastic pad thing that connects the board to the face buttons.....is that what it sits between??modded matt said:this is ps3 instafire, legalities prevent me from saying much more other than it belongs to BGR mods. I can give you the specs, and I wil be doing an install tut soon. it is based on a "clip on" system, there as it clips onto the existing IC of the controller itself, no soldering posible. the pins are so close together it would be imposible to solder it. this chip takes full control of the buttons at the source microcontroller, no more forced/floating pins. I cant get into exact details, but this chip is (in design) supperior to anything ever done with xbox. Most of you wont understand what I mean unless you have a strong electronic/programming background...(I am not dissing viking) this design should change the way modding is conducted, atleast on the ps3 side for now.

Yeah that large square black chip you speak of, is a QFP IC, and its the brains of the controller....... Also the one on the PS3 controllers looks like it has 88 pins on it......
