Ps3 Programmable Ragnarok Controller not entering rapid fire programming mode?

I just received my controller today and I wanted to set the rapid fire speeds, but when I follow the instructions to enter programming mode, it doesn't work at all. I am completely new to these controllers and maybe I am doing something wrong and apologize for being so dumb about it, but I dunno what to do. If maybe someone could help me with, like, a step by step guide on what to do with this controller and how to set it up completely. I am using this controller for MW3 btw, and I dunno if this affects anything but I use the ump45 in mw3. Thanks in advance!

If you are using the ump45 in mw3 the rapid-fire controller will not work with a fully automatic weapon like the ump45. That is the same gun i have in one of my layouts. Now With that being said I have found that if you have the rapid-fire settings set at the right sps you will loose a lot of the recoil from the weapon in turn give you a more accurate shot. If the rapid-fire settings are not set right it will just slow the weapon down. So far im still working on some numbers and when im finished testing everything I plane on posting them on the forums.
