Question before I buy...

Hello,

I have a quick question that I'm not completely sure about after viewing your site. I understand that I can reassign functions and macros to the tactile buttons located on the front and back of the controller, however I'm also wondering if I can reassign the standard XBox controller buttons as well. For example, if I want to reassign the A button to LB and LB to A, can I do that or am I limited strictly to these tactile buttons? Oh, and also, just to confirm, if I use rapid fire, that would still be through the use of the triggers rather than tactile buttons, correct? Thanks.

You can have rapid-fire for RT on RT or on a tac switch.

You can rapid-fire any button on that button or on a tac.

You cannot reassign LB to A, or A to LB UNLESS there is no function.

Example: COD MW3 - A is to jump, LB is to throw a tactical grenade.

You can put A on the LB button, but then it is like pressing LB and A at the same time.

Example: Skyrim - Y is to jump, A is to talk.

You can put Y on A so that you jump and talk using the A button.

Well in other words, no. You can't remap buttons.

You can assign any macro you want to say the Left Bumper. But, when you press the Left Bumper to play back that macro, your entire macro will playback PLUS the Left Bumper that you just pressed. There are six tactile switches on this thing for that reason - if you don't want to have the stock button press along with your macro, then you would want to assign the macro to a tac switch. So there's no "interference". In the case of rapidfire you actually want the stock button press mixing with your macro. But sometimes you don't!

But no if your goal is button remapping, this doesn't really do traditional button remapping.
