Shift key

I broke my Odin's Raven, and I'm going to buy a Macro controller. My question is, if I buy my Macro controller today, will there ever be possibility that Shift keys will work or ever be put on this Macro controller, like it could just be software coded and not hard coded ?

Shift keys are possible now, you just have to think outside of the box to make one. Just tell me what kind of macro you want, and I might be able to create it.

For example: Shift key on a tac switch. Press RT to shoot G11, non jittered. You can aim with LT, and shoot with RT.
Hold RT + Tac switch (Tac switch would be the shift key) to Jitter. The tac switch is the shift key.

Technically, the Tac switch is the jitter, but it is missing RT. When you hold RT and hold the tac switch, it acts as a jitter.
If you hold the tac, without RT, it will press YY/XYY really fast.
So it isn't a shift key but merely can be used as one.

I can create that.

I can't create this: Hold RT to jitter, Hold LT (LT being the shift key to de-activate the jitter on RT) + press RT to shoot normally with the G11, no jitter.

It just depends on the shift key you are wanting.

Most likely no to the shift key that I said I couldn't create above.
I would say if they ever did, it would be December of 2011, or later. Possibly it would come during the holidays to spark new buyers, but I doubt it.

Just let me know what you'd like and I can try to create it.

If you buy one today I would just make the assumption that there will never be any new software updates ever. That sets a better expectation level. Then if any new features come out in the future you would be pleasantly surprised. :) There are a few macros that can be made for use with a 'shift key', straight-up rapidfire is one macro that can be activated only while the tac switch is being held down, and de-activates as soon as tac switch is released. NYJets has a method for doing same with Jitter but I haven't tried it yet.

We are working currently hard at getting loop settings + analog axis disabling! That will hold us for a while, then maybe... if ever... we'll get more into shift keys.
