Some Questions :D

Hey Viking guys, (or whatever you call yourselves )

I wanted to purchase the plain Black Xbox 360 Modded controller, but I had a few questions first.

1. Can you set a macro to dropshot and set it as a tac button so it acts as a dropshot button?

2. I read somewhere on the site that controllers are available with custom LED collors, however I didn't see anywhere to choose an LED color. Can someone inform me about this?

3. I've watched videos of the controller etc etc, and I noticed some of the people said they ordered it with "PS3 style thumbsticks." I didn't see an option for this either. Can someone inform me about this?

4. If there is no option for PS3 style thumbsticks, can the controller easily be opened and new thumbsticks put in place? Or with all the wiring and tac buttons is it difficult..?

5. Is there any extra plastic casing on the outside of the controller? Or is it the original controller case. (I hate extra plastic casing)

6. Why viking?

1. Yes, you can set drop shot to a tac switch. You can also set drop shot to your right trigger so whenever you fire you automatically drop shot without pressing any extra buttons. This is fantastic for mid to close range combat in black ops, I use it frequently.

2. The macro controllers have multi light technology. So you can make the ring of light a variety of colors. You can also set led lights to go along with your macros. So for example when you rapid fire you can make the leds flash some colors of your choice.

3. The controllers sold on this website do not come with ps3 thumb sticks. You can buy a controller and then send it to someone to customize (Fredrow did mine).

4. From what I have heard there are a lot of connections inside the controller due to the multi leds and tac switches. So unless you are very familiar with controller insides and such this is not recommended. Opening your controller will also void your warranty. Now if you get custom work done by Fredrow, he provides a 90 day warranty on his work.

5. Again I have a custom macro controller done by Fredrow so my case is an original xbox 360 controller shell. But I believe the controllers sold here are also in original shells, especially the black one that you said you were interested in, looks exactly like the original black shells, just has some extra holes.

6. These "Viking" macro controllers are top of the line controllers. No other company offers controllers like these. You can make your own mods and change them whenever you want. You can tweak the speeds so it coincides with your play style. I know you said you only play black ops but you can use these controllers for any game, even the next call of duty whenever it comes out. From launch day you can start making your own macros and be ahead of everyone else.

The controller casings are completely original. Just holes drilled for the tac switches. There is no option to change LEDs because the multilight tech lets you pick from a large range of colours through software. The original LEDs are replaced with a small curciut board standard.

He can do whatever you want. I have contacted him, but he is extremely busy so it's doubtful he'll do anything.

Modded matt can. Same with Fredrow. Both are probably too busy to do it =/.

Why evil sticks? PS3 sticks are designed to push away your thumbs from the sticks. I personally loathe them, but its up to you...

I dunno man. I have Evil Sticks on my current controller and I prefer it over the normal Xbox 360 sticks. Can you maybe see if these guys are too busy?

To be honest I'm not content on buying the controller if I don't have someone who I know will be able to switch out the sticks for me.

I wish I could do it but I can't. odingalt MIGHT be able to, pm him, but yeah try pming modded matt or fredrow. (theyre moderators) This is a small thing so I'm sure they'll do it, just don't know when.

You just have to speak with them yourself to see if you can place the order. I doubt Odingalt will want to put on different thumbsticks.
