Hey guys, Im soon to be a new owner of the macro modd controller by next week(hopefully monday) just had a few questions/concerns about assigning macros to tac buttons. I wanted to know if i have to complete assign all controls to every button on the controller before i play black ops. Or can i simply just use the software, add my modds to only the tac switches, transfer to controller and play black ops? Also, are there alot more macros offered in the library, because right now i only see like 88. I hear people on other forums talking about going to the library to get a new macro, but when i go i never see it. Just wondered if you had to be a member before seeing all of the macros in the library.

Well First off you can remap every button to a tact switch. example would be for the "X" button when playing black ops just assign it to one of the 4 switches on the back and you wont have to move you figures to reload. The macro Library has a lot of macro mostly for Call of duty. But if you ever need a macro there is a macro request forum and if you just ask I'm sure people would be glad to help, these forums are full of helpers like myself. Plus with the record feature you can make your own macro with that. Just set the record to a tact switch and once the button is pressed it will record every button press and ever move you make with the LS and RS.(doesn't record tact switch presses) If you want to see what the macro looks like head over to my youtube channel and watch the unboxing of the macro and you can see how they are placed and how it will help you out in what buttons to remap.

You can indeed remap buttons to tac switches. You don't have to assign every button to the controller etc. You can put a few macros, or none on your controller and everything will work fine!

There are LOADS and LOADS of macros in the macro library, all free.

88 Macros here for black ops alone: http://viking360.com/download-software-drivers/macro-library?game=Call+of+Duty+Black+Ops

64 Fast Reloads: http://viking360.com/download-softw...ary?game=Call+of+Duty+Black+Ops+-+Fast+Reload

If you have an issue with a macro, let me know! I will evaluate and fix it for you if I can.

I will help in any way and feel free to ask questions.

NYjetsNY1-

I uploaded your black ops macro (normal) and then saw this post about fast reloads. Two questions: 1) What's the difference between (No S-Hand) and (With S-Hand)? and 2) Can I have your macro set on the controller and then add the fast reload? I apologize if this seems like a dumb question, but I'm a NOOB and I'm trying to get a good load out. Thanks for your help.

1.) "No S-hand" means you do NOT have the sleight-of-hand perk as one of your character's perks. "With S-Hand" means that you DO have sleight-of-hand "SOH" as one of your perks. When you choose sleight of hand as a perk, your game character reloads faster.

2.) Yes, you can add a fast reload macro to your macro set later on.

Thank you Odingalt and NYjetsNY1 for the quick response. A few more hours and I'll be done with work and playing Black Ops with my Viking.
