Squeeky controller?

I just got my controller back.. and the trigger squeaks.. is it possible it just needs to be broken in?

So do you think itll go away after I have broken in the controller or? It is actually getting worse. It is making gameplay very frustrating. I am about to spray WD-40 in it, but I would probably break the controller. I am not saying its your fault, its squeaking loudly and annoying.
