Mine would be;

- Viking360 Duo

- Lit up ABXY
- Guide Button Lit up - Not sure what colour.
- PS3 Thumbsticks
- Wireless Controller Updating
- And anything else I can think of..

So what's yours?

mine would be:

a raven custom painted with poker designs
3.5mm jack
light up buttons
black glow light(possible lol?)/white LED's chriscrossing and the x in the middle lit up as red
an added tacticle switch on the front of of the controller, a little lower than the d pad and the right thumbstick, but centered which would be used INSTEAD of the sync button to program the controller
and lastly, two small rotating wheels positioned above the mic port on the botton, which would each have a small digital screen above then, which would say a number. the number would be the mode that you are on, and it would be quickly chosin by rotating the wheel. This would make switching between modes extremely easy and quick.

ONLY GOD KNOWS IF THIS IS POSSIBLE
i mean it probobly is, and if anybody were to accomplish it, i would bet on it being fredrow/odin
by the way, theres some ideas for your next generation of controllers odin :)

one problem you would probably need to have the pnc pluged in all the time to power the screen

haha yeah probly, the only reason i suggested that, is because if you had a wheel with a limited number of buttons, then programming would be limited, but if you had an unlimited number setting, you could technically have unilimited modes

although, one thing that would work is to have the screen(im talking very very small screen, almost no power, like an LED) that would only display a number when the wheel was turned. this would conserve power, and would still serve its purpose. btw im talking super small screen like the size of the start/back buttons

Honestly I love the wheel plus LCD screen idea. I think it's outside of the price range for a commercially viable project, but if I ever had time for a fun project it would be awesome to replace like the guide button and start/back button area with a touch-screen LCD!!

Oh yeah, power requirements would be another issue lol. I would think that for this type of project it would be best to use a wired controller or to plan on having your PnC plugged in all the time.

oh dear god that would be awesome

i think i have a project for ben heck lol.

although, i think i would have a way that you wouldnt need the lcd screen and could still have a ton of modes

put in a tact switch and 3 dials going from 0-9 down by the mic port, the first one, would be which set you were programming(say active reload or rapidfire) and the second two would be a number representing a gun or reload glitch etc. pressing the tact switch would be for confirming the setting.

so say you wanted to switch from gun one, to gun two(and change to its according reload glitch) you could go down to the dials and put the first one on 1(for guns) and then make the other two dials say 0 and 2. then press the tact switch confirming your new setting. Then move the first dial to 2(for reload glitch) and once again, make the last two dials say 0 and 2. And press the tact switch, once again confirming your new setting.

within about ten seconds, one could have switched guns, and reload glitch all together.

this could provide an insane amount of modes for viking, with ease, and would make switching extremely fast.

and honestly, i think that would even be in the price range or somebody looking to buy.

AND THE BEST THING WOULD BE, IS THAT IT WOULDNT USE A TON OF POWER LIKE AN LCD SCREEN :)

just an idea for you odin :p

"E" you should really check your emails.... I have already came up with this idea. But instead of using the LCD screen you can use 2 small 7-segment LED read-outs. They make really small now. But then you would also need to wire in a LED driver, but that's cake work. I'm going to email you after I have class today, and yeah I do have class today on Saturday.....
