Where has he been for the past 2 or 3 weeks? If he's been working on a new mod as obo sugested, when is it going to be unveiled?

Hi. I did get answere from OD when tried the support ticket. He did answere, i cant say all the things he said. But little afraid for this sites future. He did say he did write a contract some other place so he cant write windows software anymore!!! According too him it was a part of the contract. I think it is crazy. But he also mentioned something about hiring some coders for this site.

Maybe OD will be crazy because i let this out in the open, but i think the customers of this site knows what going on! According too the site and why i buyed this controller is this:

FREE Lifetime Software Updates!
USB upgradeable with any Windows PC!
Bypasses all XBox Live patches to date!
Unlimited modes, unlimited power!

Since i buyed the controller in december 2009, there has been only 1 update, and the only new thing in there was the fast jitter mod. There is so much desired modes from customers now that i am frustrated!

Sorry OD if i write too much but i think we all need too know what happens.

he mentioned something about a micro thing, who would be ready in 3 weeks time, but we will see. Since ha cant write more windows software thing himself, ha cant write anymore modes for us. Sorry guys that is the fact!

Well then this "create-your-own-code" code could possibly be the last one made?
it makes some sense if you think about it.. he cant make codes anymore so we get something that helps us make our own.. i really hope the site stays and continues how it is.

Hello folks. Kristianz misunderstood my last communicade. I am working dilligently on the microcontroller end of the new software. I entered into a contract with a firm to build the Windows GUI side of the software. If I wrote the Windows side it would be amateur at best. My forte' is microcontroller/machine code. In any case, I'm focusing all of my energy on this 'build your own code GUI' - rather than writing a custom code here or there for every request that comes in, this software will allow all of my customers to start choosing their own setups using a Windows GUI tool. ETA is about mid march.

ETA WAS March 1st, but we've also been making some other changes at the business - we've finally hired two installers here to help us out, hopefully this is going to free up some time so I can complete the 'build your own code' tool (I haven't named it yet, will probably just call it Viking GUI). Hiring legitimate employees is a little bit of a trial and tribulation - we also needed to get an accountant and a bookkeeper to help us keep everything legit. In other words we're experiencing growing pains because we've gotten popular enough it's hard to keep up with the good customer service and custom codes that we are known for.

I saw this coming during the holiday rush and have been dreaming up this Viking GUI ever since. So the contract doesn't say I can't ever write Windows code :) The contract is there just like our new hired installers, accountant and everyone else - they're there to help us out because my wife and I just can't run the business by ourselves any more.

:) So don't worry! And I'm sorry I don't have any more info on the Viking GUI, y'all here in the forums will be the first to know about it as soon as I have any beta code or a screenshot. The software contractors are anxious to move forward with the project. I will be contacting a few of the oldest and bestest Viking customers to perform some beta testing here in a couple of weeks.

Seems that i misunderstood, sorry for that. Hope i did not say anything that was not ment too be in the open OD. Just was very worried myself for this super site.

The controller works nice! the best out in the market! No doubt.

Just was worried about the future and wanted too share some of this with rest of the loyal customers here.

I'm pretty much just going to post the thing here in the forums somewhere, a few of my super secret favorite customers might get it a day or two early, but for the most part it makes since to just dump it here. I may actually open another forum just for the beta testing as things will get pretty busy, it will take some work to go from beta to final production, at which point I can then post it on the website. Getting closer, we've got the GUI shell and the configuration file to go with it, just gotta grind through a lot of the functional coding and early early beta testing. Ya know, gotta start by making the LED's blink and work from there lol.
