Xcm/regular wireless controller hybrid

Okay I was wondering I want to take the front of A xcm chrome v2 case and a regular wireless controller back case. This way I avoid moving the tac switches. Will this work? Will it fit?

I doubt it. I don't actually know, but I can't see them being that close...

Probably will not fit. Ive heard that XCMs are much tighter than regular cases.

well if it is tight that could just mean the insides are different. could someone who has a xcm case please check to see if they screw together with a motherboard inside.

It worked for me on a XCM v1 chrome case. Not sure about the new v2 with the clear light-up thumbsticks.
