.99mm spacers in the back of the buttons. which cuts down on the distance the button has to travel before it engages! and a lot of trial and error! unlike evil's buttons this does not change the height of the buttons, just the speed of them!
My Current Project:
Ragnarok Chip with USB
Serpent Shell
LED Thumbsticks (still not sure if I am going to leave them in)
FPS FREEKS Prestige Edition
Red Ring of light (I may add a second set of blue LEDs on LED3 and LED4, So when the mods are turned on they will be blue)
Removed the rumble...
I haven't put it together yet. everytime I plug in the usb the led3 and led4 go out, not blink. when I unplug it they come back on! I have double checked the wiring several hundred times. still nothing. all the modes work fine just won't connect to the pc!
Anyone else having a problem getting in programming mode? when I plug it in led3 and led4 go out. but the software does not see it. Wondering if it is a windows 7 issue or not. I have redone the wiring from the Ragnarok chip to the plug 3 times and the samething!
It is a matrix board in the try's hand! Like I said earlier "I don't know why it works" But it's working get with both Packs and Batteries. I have been playing for the last 8 hours straight with no problems.
On the CG2 install the solder points for the 3 LED and 4 LED are supposed to be soldered to traces on the bottom right corner of the chipset. On mine these traces are completely covered by the chipset. can these be soldered on the other side of the board to the LED's themselves?
Make sure you use the post on the left side at the end! The 3 on the left have 2.85v, but the one on the end is the only one that doesn't drop when the controller is turned on. I don't know why this works, Because even when the packs are in there is 2.85v at the + post for the regular Batteries...
Here is an update! I moved the V solder point from the + post for the regular batteries to the back of the copper contacts for the rechargeable packs and now my controller works with both!
I have used both Microsoft ones and the nyko packs and neither one will power the chip! The controller works fine just no power to the chip! I have to use regular batteries to get the chip to work. I think it has something to do with where the power wires to the chip are soldered. The packs use...
I have fulling recharged both packs and the chip still does nothing, But when I put some half dead batteries in it works fine! It looks like the Packs use the four copper contact in the center of the battery compartment and the batteries use the contacts in the bottom of the compartment!
