2 things...
1.) the controllers do the same exact thing just look a little different. (obviously the silver d-pad is slightly better than the default one)
2.) the silver controller with new d-pad is cool and if you really want it ask some people in your neighborhood if you can mow their lawn for them... do that for a weekend and you should get 30 bucks possibly more if you get a bunch of lawns done.

Unfortunately we will never be lowering the price on the silver d-pad controller. We ran out of our stock of "CG2" controllers. Microsoft switched to "MATRIX2". Our modchip requires the old "CG2" circuit boards. So, we only got about 50 of the silver d-pad macro controllers left and then we're sold out forever, we can't buy more since they don't exist any more, unless Microsoft goes back to producing "CG2" circuit boards.
