Berserker and Black Ops III

I have a question about the berserker. I have owned around 5 Viking controllers. I only use them for mainly the Call of Duty Games. My latest was the xbox one Ragnarok. The latest updates from Black Ops III completely wiped out pretty much all the worth while jitter settings. And the rapid fire settings were not much to start with. So my question is: Do the Black Ops III updates affect the Berserker like they did the ragnarok? I just want to make sure that after paying for a Berserker the updates won't render it useless for rapid fire settings, etc. Or can I program the runes to defeat the updates?

no it doesn't effect the controller only the game meaning you would just have to edit the jitter settings or make a new one with new settings that will work.
