My guess honestly is customers who insist on trying to flash their controllers using the legacy software despite the huge warnings signs everywhere telling you not to do it. Suddenly when we renamed it "rapidfire software" instead of "legacy software" there is a sudden rash of controllers that 'just stopped working'.
If you have a problem, open a support ticket, the staff WILL take care of your problem. Don't just sit here and why, cry and complain. Do you want us to jump on an airplane and fly down and fit it for you? Ship it in. In the time you've wasted complaining about it, we could've had it shipped here, fixed, shipped back and you could be playing already.
