I was thinking about buying a controller but before I did I was wondering if it would be challenging to do something like switch the A and Lb button so I can jump when I press LB instead of A.

You cannot switch the Lb and A button, because that would be switching around hardware, which is something that no mod chip is able to do, not even this one. The only way to accomplish this would be to create an entirely new controller from scratch.

However! What you can do is assign certain buttons to the tactile switches on the controller. So you could assign LB to one tactile switch, and then A to another, etc.
