Do you mean the actual xbox1 update ? If so, settings, then system, update controller ... remember to plug in the charge cable and remove the batteries, plus if you have one, plug in the chat adapter ....

also can someone make a video step by step connecting the xone controller to pc to upgrade it. i have 3 plugs the controller came with but dont know how to use them and where do i plug them at, at the bottom of the controller or top. it doesent come withe a usb to connect with the computer how do you connect
