? If you mean why do I care, you can want what you want, then whatever it's cool, I just personally wouldn't want one for no gain. If you mean it's OK without one then yes... I'm not sure which one that was.

there is no jack. the PnC is used for programming. BUT it remains FULLY FUNCTIONAL.

3.5mm jack not needed any more. We can use the play and charge port for 100% normal play and charge use with The Viking macro controller. And then you can also power up controller into bootloader mode and the modchip will automatically take control of the play-and-charge port to plug into your Windows computer. The play-and-charge cable is included with your purchase and it can be used to connect the controller either to your xbox 360 console (for charging the battery pack), or your windows PC (for programmign the mod chip).
