yes there is a beta thingy called windows 7 release candidate which is a free 90 day trial made for TI workers. here is a youtube video explaining how to get it, although it is mostly about using the Win 7 R.C. via bootcamp on mac. you may have to sift through the mac parts, but there is one important thing that you need for this that is NOT free. a 2GB or greater capacity CD that you can burn the Release candidate onto and the install it.

VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYPSwNp3sU0
Win 7 R.C: http://cuthut.com/F7

EDIT!!!!: I just realized that this video is quite old. the release candidate is not downloadable anymore but this other 90 day trial program is. Download here. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/eval ... 53205.aspx (It is the 90 day enterprise trial)

Utorrent that's it.....but how do I know it won't break my comp?

M1A1, I thought I read somewhere you said you're a freshman in college right? Talk to somebody at your school. Microsoft offers a program for college students called the "Microsoft Academic Alliance" I was able to receive "Windows 7 Professional" for no charge, along with a few other programs. If you can't get it for free I know you can get it for dirt cheap.
