Yeah only real way to fix that is to open it up. odingalt would probably do it, since when you open it up, its a very easy fix. all you have to do is open it and pop the broken piece out of the mic jack

yeah i know that. x3=infared x31=digital. but is it regular for them to be really loud even when at a low setting. because if i turn them about anywhere higher than a 1/4 of the way then they stop working because its too loud. while on my x31s at any volume, they still didnt give out with loud...

I think it had to be a lot more work than rerouting the traces, because it is going from analog to digital, so somehow you need to make the controller think its digital vs analog

I tried the x31s and they worked great. probably the best bang for your buck at 75 dollars. but then i got a pair of x3s off of ebay for a steal. like 30 bucks. they both work great with the viking360, but the x3s are pretty staticy. hoping to get a pair of trittons soon. but i have a question...

Yeah i heard the blackmagic was a nice one. did you get the shuttle or the pro. because i was gonna trade for a shuttle, but i think they have like 3.0 usb or something, and i dont have 3.0 on my laptop.

well the problem might be that the trace was broken on the controller. taping will not work it needs to be soldered, but read into that other thread it explains what to do if the trace is broken. you pretty much take a piece of wire and solder to both sides of teh break in the trace.

Yeah seems someone else had this problem too. you can solder the wire here. and there should be a little piece of wire that has been exposed. or you can solder to the middle prong on the actual sync button

can you take a picture. most people dont use the same color wire for the same point on the controller.

Why does everyone ask this question. i have seen 3 threads from three different people of "whens my controller gonna come". Viking is not scammers and you will get your controller. they are faster than most companies to ship out, you just need to chill out and be patient
