I wouldn't recomend charging untill about 2-1 bars because the way your charging the controller can actually cause dammage to the battery....but it is normal for it to get warm/hot

if you put akimbo mode in slot 2 and rapid fire in slot one and turn them both on you will have rapid fire

When the sync is pushed it sees current....the problem with the dpad is how to find that current....personally I wouldn't bother with the dpad....just make/get a raven......because if your going to use the dpad how is the chip going to know your pushing the dpad for your killstreak not to toggle...
