1080i or 720p for mw3

Well, 1080i is a higher resolution, but it does not show every pixel on every frame... However since COD runs at 60 fps, I would probably go 1080i.

the i stands for interlace and the p stands for progressive. Progressive is better for movement. 1080i your tv does more work. I run my 32 inch dynex with a dynex hdmi and 720p and the graphics are clear

where does 1080p fit into this? Is it true that that 1080p cannot process the pixal rate therefore creating your own personal 'latency'. Or would it be best to adjust setting to 1080i as previously mentioned, because CoD only runs at 60fps?
