When dual wielding weapons, akimbo mode allows you to fire both with rapidfire while only having to hold down the right trigger. Dual Trigger rapidfire means that if you would prefer to be in control of the weapons in your hands individually, you can apply rapidfire to both the right AND left triggers. Many of the older modded controllers that we no longer really see only have rapidfire on the right trigger, as most games at the time only used the right trigger as a fire weapon function. Now most games have a dual wielding ability where you need both triggers such as call of duty so this feature was made.
