Are downloads Ubuntu Capable?

In a few days i am buying a controller i am wondering if i can still download updates for the controller if i run Ubuntu on my computer. Please respond thank you.

I don't even know what Ubuntu is. I'm a Windows guy. I tried Red Hat and Suse once when I was 14 years old.

Like I said I tried Red Hat distro like 14 years ago lol. I gave up on Linux because all of the engineering software I need to use for my day job and my side hobbies only support windows. So I gave up fighting the monopoly that microsoft has in this country. :-(
