Buttons on Serpent performing multiple incorrect actions!! Please help.

I have had my Serpent for some time now, and recently it started acting a little weird. If I push the A button, the controller performs the function for A, Y, and right on the d-pad at the same time with no macro assigned to the A button. Also if I push right on the d-pad, it performs the A and Y functions. When I jump in MW2 for example, I automatically switch weapons. In Black Ops, if I have a killstreak reward that I am holding onto and I push the button to jump, I automatically use my reward, jump, and switch weapons. Have you ever had this happen before? Someone please help me. The warranty has expired, but I will pay for the repairs. (GLADLY, I love my controller!)

Sounds like you have a bad macro set on you controller. http://viking360.com/download-software-drivers/the-viking-software-record-and-playback-moves

Update your firmware. Directions found there. Watch the video if needed as well. Then put a new blank macro set onto your controller. During the whole process of updating your firmware and everything else use fresh AA batteries.

Watched tutorial and went through process twice with the same result. The buttons are doing the exact same thing. I don't know what could be wrong. I have been using the same macros the entire time that I have had the controller. One day it just started doing this in the middle of a match of MW2. Firmware didn't work and I imported a blank macro set and the buttons are the same.

no trouble with firmware update, controller is still doing the same thing with no macros installed. I am on the xbox dashboard right now and if I push the A button, the controller performs Y.

Can you try putting the cod black ops quick set. vks on your controller? Also try taking out the batteries before you put the macro set on your controller. On the controller hold start then insert the batteries while still holding start. Then put the vks on your controller.

Tried both, neither worked. I played Black Ops and pushed the A button, I released attack dogs, jumped, and switched weapons with one button.

I have a problem with my Serpent as well.... its so pretty that I can stop looking at it and now suck even worse at video games....
