Can anyone tell me how to set up a JTAG xbox?

My friend Nick just bought a JTAG'd Xbox 360 and he needs me to help him set it up. The only problem is I don't know much about JTAG's (although i understand it so much more than he does.) I've watched a couple tutorials and stuff but I still need some help.

Okay, so i've been to the site and looked around and i have no clue where to actually go to find out where to set it up. I already have the JTAG i just need to set it up to do modded lobby's.
