Chat Pad Leds

Just wondering if you could put the leds from the controller into the chat pad, so it could change led colors too. Im not sure if this is even possible because you would most likely have to put another circuit board into the chatpad and download the firmware to the chat pad and the controller seperately, but then i dont know how you would change colors. Just an idea though and wondering if it is possible.

They are the same leds, It may just need different firmware or some kind of addon to the original viking chip. This would also take a fair amount more coding, but it would be pretty cool. I just want someone more technically advanced to answer if it would be possible.

They're the same LEDs as a stock controller, but the viking has a little multilight circuit board. Are the LEDs on it the same as a stock controller and chat pad?

Odin would have to create a new Flex PCB with the Multi Light specifically for the chat pad, since that is how the new viking is setup. It is seperate from the Viking chip and has its own PIC to run the leds. Sounds like an expensive undertaking to make that for the chat pad. Looks easy enough to swap out those 0603's. All you need is another LED driver and then some of the tri-state LEDs and you could pull this off.....

u could posibly jack the signal and use the same driver just add leds, not sure on the consumtion though.
