Chrome Shell?

Hey about a month ago I bought a Modded controller from GamerModz. Ever since getting this thing the audio cuts in and out and at times doesn't work at all. Also the controller will lose Sync from my Xbox. I sent it in for repairs.. got it back and it still does the same crap only now the RB button will disconnect the controller from my xbox. I filed a coplaint with the BBB and this is what they said..

: The controller that James Sorensen sent back to our company for repair worked upon receipt.
Even though the controller worked when it arrived back at our location, we still completely disassembled the controller and remodified it with all new parts. It is completely impossible for Mr. Sorensens' controller to have the exact same issues when he received it back as when he sent it in considering the fact that it's a brand new build.
Unfortunately, the 'audio' issue that Mr. Sorensen mentioned in his complaint is due to the Chrome Shell that he purchased causing interference with his headset. The instruction manual that comes with each (Microsoft) headset mentions that anything metallic can cause audio interference including being too close to a TV or XBOX. Mr. Sorensen did not purchase his headset through our company though, but would have known this prior to purchasing a Chrome Shell from our company if he had read the instruction manual for his headset.
Mr. Sorensen may send his controller back for replacement as long as the controller he's returning again is still in the same condition that we sent it in. If the controllers' shell is damaged in any way though, we will have to reuse his shell when we completely remodify the controller again.
Please have Mr. Sorensen return his controller to our company for repair or replacement (depending on the condition of his returned item).
Sincerely,
Courtney Jones

Not really. Those are some common 'side affects'(i sound like a doctor, don't I?) of having a mod, especially one from GamerModz. The re syncing thing is the same with every sleeper, the only way to bypass it is to use a different button to change modes. this means a button like ABXY, the triggers, back, start , xbox guide etc., which is a bad idea right, considering how many times you use those in game and out of game, so they would REALLY mess you up. That means tact switches are by far the way to go and that should be that for the re syncing problem. I'm not sure what you mean by RB disconnecting the controller, do you mean it acts like a second sync button or is it completely inert? Either way its not your fault for this at all, someone got a little crazy with a soldering iron at GamerModz.
As far as the chrome shell goes its just radio interference for your headset. When I got my turtles the manufacturers warned me about all kinds of interference with network connections and other radio frequency devices that could cause either poor network connection or poor audio. I guess that is the same for wireless headsets. All in all let me put it this way................
GamerModz suck.

By disconnecting I mean it tries to resync atleast 2 to 3 times a game. Also I don't touch the Sync button it just keeps resyncing over and over again. like I can turn on the controller and just look around on the dashboard and it will resync.

At least on the Viking controllers, a fresh set of batteries solves all sorts of strange problems, not sure if that helps with your gamermodz controller?
